I live in Little Rock, Arkansas and work work at one of the local hospitals as a Cardiac Monitor Technician. My wife and I share our little house with three cats. I am not a journalist, or an expert in anything. I do believe in the power of reading and writing to inform ourselves and the people around us. We have the power to imagine a better world, and from time to time perhaps the will to make it so.
I think we have a responsibility to be aware of the world around us, to not get so insulated in our own lives and well-being. My interests are wide-ranging: from the arts and sciences, to technology and spiritual issues. I write about what interests me, be it the latest tech news or celebrity happenings, to philosophy and politics.
Suffice to say, I'm a Liberal and a humanist, much to some of my family and friend's chagrin. But, I have also been know to argue both sides of an issue. I am passionate about ideas, and finding the relationships between things, the common link that attaches one thing to another.
I hope you'll subscribe and come back from time to time to see what I'm thinking about. If you like something, that's great; but if you find something I write disagreeable, that's great, too.
