Stephen A. Caldwell in Books, Books, Evolution

I have been listening to the audible version of this great book.

Sean Carroll's Remarkable Creature is a wonderful romp through the history of scientific ideas. From Darwin's voyage that brought about The Origin of Species, to the Leakey's groundbreaking (no pun intended) discoveries in the Olduvai Gorge, to the discovery of the K-T boundary and the theory of dinosaur extinction. Carroll shows how science builds on previous work, and that the bold, game-changing theories aren't immediately obvious or accepted.

A fantastic read during the 150th anniversary of the publication of The Origin of Species.
